In Aussielandia at the moment and loving every second of it.

Just got back from Fremantle where I had a gorgeous dinner with my adopted white brother and his gorgeous-as wife in Sandrino.

FYI, Being on this blog is pretty major for him. Nevermind if he and Kate have a 2 page feature in Grazia magazine- the one with MJ in the cover, just so everyone knows.

Last Thursday, I styled a fashion show for the School of Fashion and The Arts with Steph aka. my partner in fashion crime. It was our very first stint as a team! (HIRE US! Hahaha! Seriously.)
The theme was Sex and City...so we did our very best to whip up outfits for our very own Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda!

The Splendour of Blackamoors

I attended the most wonderful dinner thrown by one my closest friends at her lovely home last night. We feasted on the most delectable fare which included mushroom soup with truffle oil and a salmon hors d'oeurve among other delicious things. It was my idea of a charming evening filled with good food and good company.

I was completely tempted to stay past my very early curfew of 10:40 specially since I wanted to see a friend who had just recently returned to Manila and hear of her adventures. But alas, my mother would hear none of my pleas!

I wore an extremely simple outfit accented by my most recent investment : a blackamoor broach! I had intentions of purchasing this before I left for the UK the last time I was in Manila but I had a cuff made instead.

I had forgotten about him until last week when I went to my jeweller's salon and saw that it was still on display. I knew we were meant for each other at first glance. I couldn't resist giving him a good home.

Meet Nanki-poo, one of Pooh-bah's great uncles.
I was told this little guy was one of the first batches of blackamoors made by Jul Dizon.

Pooh-bah, who is still as beautiful as the day I first met him.

And here's my mom's very own blackamoor who I absolutely adore with every inch of me. The face is a carved tourmaline with a turban lined with diamonds and accented with a gold leaf. His breastplate is lined with diamonds, rubies, tsavorites and emeralds!

He is absolutely stunning.
I am at a lost for words whenever I hold him.

Subway to Runway

One of the best things about being abroad? Safe and convenient public transport!
Trust me, having to wait for a driver to take you around the city is not as glamorous as it sounds. It has, for me, resulted to many days/nights stuck indoors.

While LittleMissR and I were in Hong Kong, we took full advantage of riding the subway (which is super-efficient and mega-organized unlike in other cities *ehem* nyc) and being able to get from one place to another by walking (such a luxury if you hail from Manila where places are so far from each other) .

And so in honor of the ever-reliable Hong Kong MTR, we decided to have a mini-photoshoot inside the train :D

*This photo wasn't one of our 'subway series' but I couldn't resist posting it! Rosanna looks ultra-beautiful in this candid shot. Definitely one of my favorite photos of her ;D

Notice how we kinda switched 'styles' for the day??? We felt that Rosanna's outfit was very "Hanna" while Hanna's outfit was so "Rosanna".
What do you guys think???

Watch out for the Little Misses next travel adventure! ;D

Apologies for not being able to comment back.
Been busy running around town spending time with my family, seeing people I haven't seen and eating in places that I have missed!
I promise I'll be better when I get back.

Customized white button down, Topshop tee, Uniqlo shorts, Penshoppe jacket, DKNY heels

I was too young to experience the early '90s. I only remember trying on my sister's old
chunky Doc Marten's (which she ended up throwing away. boo.) and seeing her in oversized tops, baggy jeans and shirts tied around her waist. Anyway, here's my take on early '90s grunge..with the whole Kurt Cobain loves flannel thing going on.

The plaid jacket was sent by the lovely people of Penshoppe.
Thanks so much Penshoppe!!!
